Car Hire Hebrides is becoming Adventra

Same great service, same trusted team – just a fresh new name!

Over the years, Car Hire Hebrides has grown from a local car rental business into a trusted provider for individuals, families, and businesses across the Outer Hebrides and beyond. As we've expanded our reach and added more locations and vehicle types to our offering, we’ve sometimes been known by different names – Car Hire Hebrides in the islands, Highland Vehicle Rental on the mainland.

It was time for a change. A new name that reflects who we are today – reliable, adventurous, and rooted in the communities we serve – while uniting all parts of our business under one recognisable identity. That name is Adventra.

Why the change?

We wanted a name that better matched the journey we’ve been on – and the journeys we help our customers take every day. Whether it’s a work trip, family holiday, or simply getting from A to B, we’re proud to support travel and logistics across Scotland. By moving to a single brand, we can deliver a more consistent experience wherever you find us, from Stornoway to Inverness and beyond.

Adventra gives us room to grow, while keeping the heart of what has made Car Hire Hebrides so dependable: exceptional local service, quality vehicles, and a helpful, friendly team.

• Our service – Still personal, still flexible, still focused on you.
• Our vehicles – From small cars to commercial vans, our fleet remains as varied and reliable as ever.

What’s changing?

• Our name – You’ll now see us branded as Adventra, across all communications and locations.
• Our website – Visit adventra.co.uk to make bookings, browse our fleet, and find out more.
• Our contact details – All emails will now come from @adventra.co.uk, and we ask that you send new enquiries to book@adventra.co.uk. (Don’t worry – our old addresses will still work for a while!)

When is this happening?

The transition is underway and will continue throughout 2025. You’ll start to notice changes to our paperwork, vehicle branding, and signage in the coming months. We aim to complete the full switch by the end of 2025.

We’re incredibly proud of our roots as Car Hire Hebrides, and grateful to all our customers who’ve supported us over the years. We’re still here, still local – just under a name that better reflects where we’re heading.
