Despite the UK government advising that Car Rental Companies are exempt from list of enforced business closures, we still feel that the following changes are necessary to protect our staff and customers.
From Wednesday 25th March, all Car Hire Hebrides branches will be closed to walk-in business until further notice. We will continue to provide a “Meet and Greet” service to pre-booked hires only, for as long as this is deemed safe. Out with booking times the branches will be unattended.
Through the use of digital technology we hope to implement an unattended pick up process shortly, which will eliminate the need for face to face contact between staff and customers. We will contact customers with information on this procedure as soon as it is finalised.
Our Bookings team will continue to deal with your booking enquiry calls and emails from the comfort and safety of their own homes between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday. If you have any urgent enquiries, please call the emergency number stated at the end of our voicemail message.
Booking Amendments
Our booking amendment policy has changed. We are now encouraging customers to delay their hire for up to 18 months from the original start date for no extra charge. We are also offering redeemable tokens to those who have prepaid and are not yet sure of their new hires dates. Please read the full information on our new policy here - Booking Amendment Policy
